Job Description

We’re looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join our client’s rapidly growing SaaS startup. In this role, you will be a founding member of the sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to our client’s continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline within your designated territory, focusing on high-value opportunities
  • Engage with senior executives from various departments, including technology, data, learning & development, and talent, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Adopt a consultative selling approach, guiding clients through the sales process and addressing their unique challenges
  • Nurture and expand relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive successful outcomes
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate new leads
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the organization

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS sales, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex sales cycles, particularly in enterprise software deals with an average ACV of $100k+
  • Proficiency in selling to C-level executives, including CTOs, CIOs, CLOs, and CDOs
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a hunter’s mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a willingness to work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC is a plus
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance productivity and effectiveness in the sales process
